Last year I created my own cleaning calendar<\/a>, and that worked fairly well for me (see sample in the right sidebar). \u00c2\u00a0But with Slingshot’s arrival at the beginning of 2012, I knew I would need to switch things up this year. \u00c2\u00a0Sometimes I find it much easier when someone else does all the thinking and planning. \u00c2\u00a0Sometimes I need someone else to just tell me exactly what I need to do. \u00c2\u00a0That’s where the Weekly Household Planner<\/a> comes in. \u00c2\u00a0The Weekly Household Planner was created by Susan Held of the Confident Mom. \u00c2\u00a0I’ve been a follower of The Confident Mom blog<\/a> for quite some time. \u00c2\u00a0Susan is always full of great ideas, and this planner definitely falls into that category!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>With a newborn in the house, I’m currently focusing on the Daily Tasks on the right side of the page (laundry, load the dishwasher, etc). \u00c2\u00a0If I get through those and still feel like doing a bit more, I start working through the tasks on the left side of the page, broken down by the day. \u00c2\u00a0The first week of January before Slingshot was born, I completed ALL of the tasks each day, and my house was sparkling clean. \u00c2\u00a0It was amazing how just a few things each day made such a big difference! \u00c2\u00a0The other thing I LOVE about this planner is that I can leave it out for my husband, and he can see exactly what needs to be done each day. \u00c2\u00a0This type of planner makes it easy to delegate tasks to your husband and kids (assuming they’re old enough to help out).<\/p>\n

You can also choose to have a Scripture Reading Plan included. \u00c2\u00a0I opted to included it in mine, though I’m doing good if I get the New Testament scriptures read.<\/p>\n

This planner is available for download<\/a> for only $9. \u00c2\u00a0You can print all the weeks out and create your own binder, take them to a copy place and have them spiral bound, or simply print one week at a time. \u00c2\u00a0So flexible! \u00c2\u00a0Definitely worth the $9!<\/p>\n
