)<\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t believe you are 2 weeks old already! \u00c2\u00a0We&#8217;re still adjusting to having you at home with us and to being a family of four. \u00c2\u00a0At 2 weeks old:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You weigh 6 pounds 1 ounce (3%). \u00c2\u00a0You still haven&#8217;t reached your birth weight of 6 pounds 5 ounces again, but we&#8217;re getting close!<\/li>\n<li>You are 20 inches long (27%).<\/li>\n<li>You look EXACTLY like your big brother (see photo below). \u00c2\u00a0We hear that from just about everyone, and it&#8217;s absolutely true! \u00c2\u00a0I can&#8217;t wait to see how your personality develops.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thepickyapple.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/NICU.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7594\" title=\"NICU\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thepickyapple.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/NICU.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"557\" height=\"742\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thepickyapple.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/NICU.jpg 557w, https:\/\/www.thepickyapple.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/NICU-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 557px) 100vw, 557px\" \/><\/a><em>The Little Apple, about 10 days old. \u00c2\u00a0Doesn&#8217;t Slingshot look just like him?! <\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You&#8217;ve finally figured out how to latch on properly and enjoy nursing (particularly those all night marathons!). \u00c2\u00a0I am so thankful that I don&#8217;t have to pump anymore and that we don&#8217;t have to feed you with a syringe.<\/li>\n<li>You sleep ALL the time during the day! \u00c2\u00a0Your big brother was on the other end of the sleeping spectrum, so we don&#8217;t quite know what to do with you (answer: embrace it! \u00c2\u00a0take a nap! \u00c2\u00a0be productive! ).<\/li>\n<li>You still keep me up quite a bit at night. \u00c2\u00a0When you&#8217;re awake, you want to be nursing. \u00c2\u00a0So we&#8217;ve had quite a few nights with 2 or 3 hour long nursing marathons. \u00c2\u00a0Not very fun for mommy, but I&#8217;m hoping this will pass soon. \u00c2\u00a0You&#8217;re a growing boy!<\/li>\n<li>You still see me exclusively as The Milk Lady. \u00c2\u00a0If I&#8217;m holding you, you are rooting around trying to eat (even if you just ate). \u00c2\u00a0I can only really cuddle with you when you&#8217;re asleep. \u00c2\u00a0Daddy is much better at calming you down than I am.<\/li>\n<li>We think you may have a bit of reflux. \u00c2\u00a0Hopefully not as severe as big brother&#8217;s, but we&#8217;ll see. \u00c2\u00a0At least we know what to do about it.<\/li>\n<li>You make the cutest faces!
