{"id":4437,"date":"2010-10-06T20:31:13","date_gmt":"2010-10-07T02:31:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thepickyapple.com\/blog\/?p=4437"},"modified":"2010-10-06T20:31:13","modified_gmt":"2010-10-07T02:31:13","slug":"harvest-pumpkin-dip","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thepickyapple.com\/blog\/2010\/10\/06\/harvest-pumpkin-dip\/","title":{"rendered":"Harvest Pumpkin Dip"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve seen many <em>many<\/em> variations of this dip in magazines and on blogs over the last couple of years, but this was my first time to try it out.\u00c2\u00a0 I needed a quick snack for our late afternoon art playgroup yesterday, so I served up this Harvest Pumpkin Dip with apple and pear slices.\u00c2\u00a0 This dip would also be great with graham crackers or ginger snaps.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thepickyapple.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Pumpkin-Dip.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4442\" title=\"Pumpkin Dip\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thepickyapple.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Pumpkin-Dip.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"557\" height=\"371\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thepickyapple.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Pumpkin-Dip.jpg 557w, https:\/\/www.thepickyapple.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Pumpkin-Dip-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 557px) 100vw, 557px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Harvest Pumpkin Dip<\/h4>\n<p>from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tasteofhome.com\/Recipes\/Harvest-Pumpkin-Dip\">Taste of Home<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened<\/li>\n<li>2 cups confectioners&#8217; sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 can (15 ounces) solid-pack pumpkin<\/li>\n<li>3 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon ground ginger<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and confectioners&#8217; sugar. (<em>Picky Apple note: Be sure to follow this step instead of just dumping everything in the bowl like I did!<\/em>) Gradually add the pumpkin, pie spice, vanilla and ginger; beat until  smooth. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.\u00c2\u00a0 Serve with fruit.
