We did lots of reading this week!\u00c2\u00a0 The Littlest Apple let me read 8 books in a row many days this week.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s highly unusual for him to sit still that long, but I’m enjoying it while I can!\u00c2\u00a0 Here are a few of the books we’re loving this week:<\/p>\n

Rudolf Von Flugel’s Busy Day<\/a>, by Richard Scarry:\u00c2\u00a0 This is a current favorite at our house.\u00c2\u00a0 Full of airplanes, helicopters, and hot air balloons.<\/p>\n

Firefighters to the Rescue<\/a>, by Kersten Hamilton:\u00c2\u00a0 We checked this one out from the library, and it took us a while to warm up to it.\u00c2\u00a0 Now my son loves this book, and runs around the house pretending to be a fireman, listening for the fire bell, saving Ben (a dog) and yelling “Firefighters to the Rescue!!”\u00c2\u00a0 Definitely a book to check out if you’ve got a kid that loves firetrucks!<\/p>\n

What Mommies Do Best\/What Daddies Do Best<\/a>, by Laura Numeroff:\u00c2\u00a0 This is actually two books in one.\u00c2\u00a0 One side for Mommies, and one side for Daddies.\u00c2\u00a0 A sweet book that discusses all the great things mommies and daddies do for their little ones.<\/p>\n

\"What<\/a><\/p>\n

Feast for 10<\/a>, by Cathryn Falwell:\u00c2\u00a0 I checked out a handful of harvest and Thanksgiving themed books from the library, but this is the only one that my son likes.\u00c2\u00a0 This is a counting book that shows the family going grocery shopping, then preparing a big feast.\u00c2\u00a0 The Littlest Apple loves the grocery store, cooking and baking, so this was perfect for him!<\/p>\n
